X32REAPER is a native extension for the DAW software REAPER which allows you to use the Behringer X32 family of mixing desks to act as a fully fledged DAW controller.

It heavily builds on the excellent OpenX32 project for the build process.

The REAPER extension is available as Windows .dll and Linux .so .

The X32 firmware is loaded from USB stick and does not touch internal flash storage. Your X32 remains fully functional!

Working:

• Fader control and bank navigation
• Pan and Send encoders
• LCD scribble strips with Track names, automation state and automatic color translation
• Channel Home screen
• Sends screen
• Effects screen
• Generic Plugin parameter editor
• Minimal transport control

Planned but missing:

• Special pages for ReaEQ, ReaComp and ReaGate
• Hardware control for ReaEQ, ReaComp and ReaGate
• 6 Mute buttons -> jump to first 6 markers
• Better transport control using the assignable lcd/button/encoder section
• Playhead positioning
• vertical/horizontal zoom in the track window
• probably: LCD and hardware VU meters
• maybe: sends on faders

Download/Installation

Download the latest beta release build to your Computer. Put the dll or so in your REAPER UserPlugins Folder. Restart REAPER. Put the .run file onto the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB stick, connect it to the X32 and reboot it.
